National Trails Day

Every year, on the first Saturday in June, the American Hiking Society proudly hosts National Trails Day — an event that unfolds on trails across public lands nationwide. This significant occasion stands as the largest trails celebration in the country, dedicated to promoting, conserving, and stewarding our invaluable trail systems. It’s a day filled with public events and trail service initiatives, uniting communities in appreciation and preservation of our natural treasures.

This National Trails Day come and embrace your love for the great outdoors by joining us on June 1st at Meadowmere Park. Whether you’re an avid hiker, cyclist, or simply enjoy being outside, this is your chance to give back to the trails that connect us all. Together, we’ll work to maintain and preserve the Meadowmere Park Trail for future generations to enjoy. Volunteer tasks will include clearing brush, collecting trash, and shaping the trail to ensure its longevity and beauty. If you’re interested in volunteering, please revisit this page at the beginning of May to sign up for a volunteer position.
