Wedding Policies and Sample Contract

Weddings

Garden Court Wedding Package

• Duration: 2-hour maximum
• Capacity: Up to 80 chairs in the Garden Court (chairs must be rented separately; delivery and pick-up during the 2-hour garden rental)
• Attendant: On-site attendant provided
• Private Ceremony Area: Signage and stanchions will mark the lawn area as private during the ceremony (Note: The rest of the gardens remain open to the public)
• Fees:
  • $450 for Grapevine residents
  • $550 for non-residents

 Bessie Mitchell House Only Package

• Duration: 3 hours (each additional hour: $150)
• Capacity: Up to 80 guests
• Tables:
  • 5-foot round banquet tables (seats 8 guests per table)
  • 6-foot rectangle tables available upon request
• Attendant: On-site attendant provided
• Fees:
  • $500 for 3 hours (residents) / $150 for each additional hour
  • $700 for 3 hours (non-residents) / $150 for each additional hour

Bessie Mitchell House & Garden Court Package

• Duration: 3 hours (maximum of 2 hours in the Garden Court area)
• Capacity:
  • Up to 80 guests in the house
  • Maximum of 80 chairs in the Garden Court (chairs must be rented separately; delivery and pick-up during the 2-hour garden rental)
• Tables:
  • 5-foot round banquet tables (seats 8 guests per table)
  • 6-foot rectangle tables available upon request
• Fees:
  • $950 for 3 hours (residents)/$150 for each additional hour
  • $1,400 for 3 hours (non-residents)/ $150 for each additional hour
  • A $400 refundable security deposit is required for all weddings.

• Alcohol is permitted inside the Bessie Mitchell House, and it must be served by a pre-approved contract vendor. A TABC-certified bartender and an off-duty Grapevine police officer are required to ensure compliance and safety.
• All 3rd party vendors must provide a current Certificate of Insurance (COI), reflecting current liability insurance.

Private Event Policy

Meetings / Events

• Resident: $75 per hour / Three-hour min.
• Non-resident: $150 per hour / Three-hour min.
• Security Deposit: $200 refundable deposit paid with rental fees.

Amenities: 75-inch flat panel TV, 10 banquet tables, 10 rectangular tables, 80 chairs, sink, refrigerator, freezer, ice machine, and an open patio.

• Cancellations must be made 14 days prior to event. If you cancel within the 14 days you will be charged 50% of rental. No refunds for day of cancellation.
• Alcohol is permitted inside the Bessie Mitchell House, and it must be served by a pre-approved contract vendor. A TABC-certified bartender and an off-duty Grapevine police officer are required to ensure compliance and safety.
