The REC of Grapevine offers our very popular REC Camp programs. This is an all-day camp option for elementary school aged children to hang out and take advantage of The REC of Grapevine’s recreation offerings, from playing basketball in our full-court gym, to swimming in our indoor aquatic center. The REC Camp programs take place during Grapevine-Colleyville School District’s Summer, Winter and Spring breaks and are the perfect solution for kids who love to stay active.
During the summer season, we also offer Specialty Camp programs lead by experts in their camp subjects. Your little chef will be able to learn how to cook from a certified head chef. Your mini tech enthusiast will learn how to create their own video game from a professional programmer. Registration for Grapevine Residents is now open. All non-resident registration will open April 1.

REC Specialty Camps - Art Camp
Campers will develop their skills using pastels, watercolors, and acrylic paints by drawing and painting flowers, landscapes and animals.
REC Specialty Camps - Designing Dolls
Create your own personalized dolls, while learning the craft of hand sewing. In this class students make a cloth doll, a flip doll, and a cloth bag to carry the projects in. Campers decorate both dolls with hair, painting the face, and designing and sewing the clothes.
REC Specialty Camps - Lego Camp
Introduce young technicians to a creative engineering environment with special Lego Logo kits, guided by a certified Texas educator. Participants construct robots, vehicles, and more, fostering fun, creativity, and STEM knowledge in a hands-on cooperative setting.
REC Specialty Camps - ESTEAM Learning Labs
Our science camps will challenge participants with authentic, hands-on experience and provide support as they engage in the engineering process. Campers will create robots, program, learn forensics, utilize lego robots, and lego movie making.
REC Specialty Camps - Cooking Camp
Imagine your child embracing new foods and ingredients! Dive into the world of cooking with us, where they'll learn food safety, healthy choices, and cooking skills. ($35 supply fee due on the first day of camp.)
REC Specialty Camps - Youth Tech
In this class students will learn the basics of animation, digital design, graphic design, web/app design, Roblox, making movies, gaming and coding, and video game design.
