All of our camp programs are designed to create an inclusive and positive experience for every camper. We maintain a safe, supervised environment for all of our participants. Each camp program has trained staff members who lead campers in activities and communicate with families throughout their child’s camp program. Registration for the Summer of 2026 will open for Grapevine residents at 9:00 am on Sunday, February 1. Non-resident registration opens at 9:00 am on Wednesday, April 1.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to inspire and empower young minds through fun, engaging and inclusive summer programs at The Rec. We strive to foster a supportive environment where children can explore their interests, build meaningful relationships, and develop essential life skills while having fun and creating lasting memories.
The REC of Grapevine offers our very popular REC Camp programs. This is an all-day camp option for elementary school aged children to hang out and take advantage of The REC of Grapevine’s recreation offerings, from playing basketball in our full-court gym, to swimming in our indoor aquatic center. The REC Camp programs take place during Grapevine-Colleyville School District’s Summer, Winter and Spring breaks and are the perfect solution for kids who love to stay active.

The best way to spend your summer! Campers are led in multiple activities planned for them each week by camp staff. Campers will be able to swim in The REC Aquatic Center.
