April is the Marketing Manager for Grapevine Parks & Recreation. April brings a wealth of unique experience to her role with the city, having held a variety of positions in events, film, scripted and reality television.
A Richardson native, April previously worked for the Flower Mound based company EchoLight Studios and FUNimation Entertainment where under her leadership, she produced five live action films and two animated films based on award-winning BioWare video games. April moved from Los Angeles in 2010, where she served as an on-location field producer for MTV’s “Taking the Stage” in Cincinnati. She also worked on a number of CBS projects, including producing credits with Emmy Award-winning “Amazing Race” and “Big Brother”. April is a graduate of Texas State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media and minor in Graphic Design. April lives in Keller, Texas with her husband and her two sons and is excited to be working with the City of Grapevine and bringing a new and exciting twist to marketing every year!
