Join us for our family friendly Medieval Misfortune, an event in partnership with Grapevine Escape, where every jest could be a jape, every toast could be treason, and every alibi could be a lie!

Step right up, lords and ladies, for a tale of mystery, mischief, and medieval mayhem! The Renaissance Faire has just begun, but tragedy strikes—King Yohann Bragg is found dead in his chambers! Accident or cunning crime? The court whispers with scandal. Was it the grieving queen, the sharp-tongued bard, the ironworker with deadly skill, the costumer with a sharper needle, or the knight, long denied his crown? The festivities have become a whodunnit of epic proportions—only the sharpest minds will uncover the truth!

Showtime & Formats:

Outdoor Show – 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Guests should bring a low-back chair or blanket for the first and last scenes. The rest of the performance will require walking, standing, and exploring throughout the Botanical Gardens.

Indoor Show – 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
This performance takes place inside the Bessie Mitchell House at the Botanical Gardens. Seating will be provided, and guests will remain seated for the entire show.

General Admission (starting March 31, 2025): $25 per person
