Who is Berry Dunn?
Grapevine Parks and Recreation has partnered with BerryDunn, a national consulting firm that works with cities across the country to create thoughtful, community-driven plans for parks and recreation. They specialize in listening to residents, analyzing local needs, and building long-term strategies that reflect each city’s unique goals. With decades of experience and a people-first approach, BerryDunn will guide Grapevine through this Master Plan process from start to finish.
What is a Parks and Recreation Master plan?
A Parks and Recreation Master Plan is a roadmap for the future. It helps the City set priorities for improving and maintaining parks, trails, recreation programs, facilities, and open spaces. This plan will: Identify what our community values most Guide future upgrades and investments Make sure all neighborhoods have access to great outdoor spaces Shape how Grapevine grows and plays in the years ahead It’s more than a plan — it’s a chance to build something better, together.

Do I need to RSVP to attend? No. RSVPs help us with food and space planning, but you are welcome to attend any session without one. Is this event for Grapevine residents only? Yes. These sessions are specifically for residents of Grapevine, as the Master Plan directly impacts local parks and programs. Can I bring my children or family members? Absolutely. All ages are welcome. What happens after the sessions? All feedback will be compiled by BerryDunn and used to draft a Master Plan for review and adoption by the City of Grapevine Parks and Recreation. Will food really be provided? Yes! We’ll have meals available and RSVP's help us prepare the right amount of food for you.
