Prehistoric Park
The dinosaurs have returned to Grapevine! Learn about Grapevine’s prehistoric past while roaming a walk through exhibition of animatronic dinosaurs. Dig into the action and enjoy hands-on activities for the whole family. Visit during the day or experience the excitement of Dinos After Dark, returning completely reimagined with themed nightly events on select dates. Learn more about each theme night below.
Activities include Boneyard Games, Dig Site to uncover the past, Amber Fossil Craft, numerous Exhibit Displays, and Animatronic Dinosaurs. Food and drinks will be available for purchase on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Merchandise is available for purchase every day.

Dinos After Dark:
Discover the world of dinosaurs like never before—after dark! Enjoy special experiences, themed activities, and plenty of prehistoric fun. Exhibit hours are 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, and fees vary by theme night. To learn more about each themed night, click on the event dates below.

Prehistoric Park Coloring Contest:
Unleash your creativity and design your very own dinosaur! Have you ever dreamed of seeing a dinosaur you designed in real life? Now’s your chance. One winning design will be transformed into a real animatronic dinosaur, painted to match the artwork and displayed at Prehistoric Park from March 14th to 29th at Meadowmere Park.
How To Enter: Download the Megalosaurus coloring page, color it in, and submit a photo of your finished artwork for a chance to win.
The Prize: The winning design will be brought to life as a painted animatronic dinosaur on display at Prehistoric Park. The winner will also receive free admission for one day to visit the park and see their dinosaur in person.
Due Date: All entries must be submitted by February 2nd, 2026 — so let your imagination roar!
Bonus Giveaway: Every participant who submits a photo will be entered into a drawing to win a ticket to Prehistoric Park!
