What is a paddling trail? Are there buoys marking a path in the lake? Both great questions. A paddling trail isn’t visually laid out in the water as something you follow like you would a trail through the woods, rather it is a series of distances with designated trail heads specifically designed for non-motorized watercraft. The trails on Grapevine Lake were routes chosen to be safe for paddlers of all experience levels, take you past beautiful shoreline scenery and provide varying lengths for different skill sets. If you don’t have your own kayak or paddle board just visit the Paddling Center at Meadowmere Park, rent your watercraft of choice and put in at our ADA accessible paddling dock for another great day on Grapevine Lake.
