    The Living Legacy Program is offered to give families an opportunity to remember and/or honor their loved ones by adopting an existing tree located in a park maintained by the Parks and Recreation Department.

    The Living Legacy Program is offered to give families an opportunity to remember and/or honor their loved ones by adopting an existing tree located in a park maintained by the Parks and Recreation Department. This includes the ordering and placing of a custom stone marker (7×10) at the existing tree. Stones will be engraved with a maximum of 35 characters.

    • Space is limited. Parks/trails no longer available for Living Legacy:
      • Parr Park
      • Pickering Park
      • Oak Grove Fields, Park, & Complex
      • Heritage Park/Botanical Gardens
      • Dove Park
    • Cost – $1,000

    City staff will make the final decision on available trees, benches, and location. For additional information, please contact us below or call 817.410.3122.

    *The Parks and Recreation Department is evaluating our Living Legacy program to ensure that we are providing the best options for our residents. Our program may be adjusted in the future.
